I'm a 29 years old Brazilian engineer. I love travelling and getting to know new places and new people.

I live in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. I'm currently working as a Software Development Engineer, mainly focused in C# .NET Core and Javascript.

    Industrial systems development for metallurgical and mining industries in Latin America, using Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, Siemens SIMATIC IT and RnD Suite. I left the company in order to pursue a masters degree abroad.

    After leaving Siemens for an exchange program, I rejoined the company upon my return to Brazil. I executed activities of software prototyping, development and maintenance. In Jan/2015, Siemens and Mitsubishi launched a joint venture named Primetals Technologies, where I continued my internship until my graduation.

I was part of the software development team and also executed parallel activities related to the internship program. I left the company when I was approved for an exchange program in Hungary.

While obtaining my degree, I worked at CPE Jr for 1 year, during which I had the chance to work in projects in the field of energy efficiency and electrical installations for local small businesses.

    The curriculum for this degree included subjects such as web standards, front-end and back-end technologies, web servers, among others. Those disciplines involved different technologies, programming languages and frameworks, such as HTML, CSS and Javascript, PHP, Web APIs, jQuery, Angular, Python and Django, ASP.NET MVC and C#, Node.js etc.

    The syllabus of Control and Automation Engineering at UFMG mixes subjects from Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Systems Engineering. My final project discussed the integration of distributed generation in electrical power systems. I also implemented a simulation in MATLAB based on genetic algorithms, in order to obtain optimal allocation for generation units in a simulated electrical network.

    During my graduation, I studied in Hungary for one year, while being sponsored by the Brazilian government via "Science without Borders" scholarship program. During the academic year, I attended regular classes and also developed a project which consisted in implementing a tool for simulation of path-planning algorithms for mobile robots.
